I consider it a great privilege to walk alongside others diagnosed with cancer. In addition to private sessions, I have served the Toronto oncology community through several renowned organizations: Wellrapy focuses on supporting the whole person.
By utilizing individualized tools—ranging from gentle movement and breathwork to restorative rituals—we can manage the physical, physiological, and psychological impacts of a diagnosis. There is a robust and growing body of evidence supporting yoga as a vital supportive practice both during and after active treatment.
An individualized practice can be tailored to address specific side effects and challenges, including:
In 2022, my role shifted from practitioner to patient when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This experience gave me the profound opportunity to put theory into practice. The rituals and skills of my Yoga Therapy training were my anchor as I underwent surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. Today, as I navigate hormone therapy and life after active treatment, yoga remains my most vital supportive practice. I don’t just understand the clinical application of these tools; I understand the courage it takes to use them when the body feels fragile.
I consider it a great privilege to walk alongside others diagnosed with cancer. In addition to private sessions, I have served the Toronto oncology community through several renowned organizations: Wellspring, ELLICSR, and Gilda's Club Toronto.
Whether you are newly diagnosed, currently in the "thick" of treatment, or navigating life post-treatment, I am here to help you build a practice that honours where you are today.

I asked the leaf whether it was frightened because it was autumn and the other leaves were falling. The leaf told me, “No. During the whole spring and summer I was completely alive. I worked hard to help nourish the tree, and now much of me is in the tree. I am not limited by this form. I am also the whole tree, and when I go back to the soil, I will continue to nourish the tree. So I don’t worry at all. As I leave this branch and float to the ground, I will wave to the tree and tell her, ‘I will see you again very soon.'”
That day there was a wind blowing and, after a while, I saw the leaf leave the branch and float down to the soil, dancing joyfully, because as it floated it saw itself already there in the tree. It was so happy. I bowed my head, knowing that I have a lot to learn from the leaf.
